IIS news

As the external communications officer, then digital content coordinator, the task falls to me to make sure the website of The Institute of Ismaili Studies is steadily updated with news, events, and academic articles. I work with scholars from across the institute to create and refine content and ensure that it aligns with the Institute’s brand and strategies.

Editing: all articles and pages on the IIS website during my tenure have passed through my editing. In addition to normal edits, like spelling and grammar, I also give input on voice, brand, consistency, and active writing.

Writing: in some cases, news needs to be reported but the relevant scholars and departments don’t have the capacity to report. In these cases, I work closely with internal stakeholders to create news articles that convey the necessary message in a quick and engaging way. Some of my writing includes:
